But considering the game is still being developed and there's not really any big mods at the moment, PVE seems the safer bet so there's no more accidents.

I like the idea of PvP with rules.
I think tribes claiming territories would be interesting. Anyone could cross these territories, but at their own discretion if they are claimed. Whether these territories be described with signs, or flags, or what - anyone in that territory could be fair game for fighting.
This leaves PvP an option, without the griefing feeling of losing your base to players while offline. I believe raiding while players are offline should still be a bannable offense.

Our tribe is interested in PvP.

We are also interested in the "territory" idea. We live on a relatively small island, and Most people who come close we're pretty wary off. There is noone really close to us, but i've been trying to go out and make Trades with other tribes and get known.

For the most part I'm a nice guy, but if people mess with our stuff then we will retaliate for sure. We are also ok with prearranged pvp bouts.

I think it could also generate more tribe interaction if we perhaps had a server wide Dodo fight club, or parasaur/phiomia race.

We don't really have plans to raid, but are not opposed if other people are ok with the idea of it. Perhaps a Opt in of tribes which are ok with it, and everyone else if off limits

I'm definitely in favor of PVP with rules, primarily the territory rule. As this server is getting established, tribes are settling down and sticking to their primary base location. These areas are respected by our tribe, as we wish to have our territory respected as well. Our tribe is friendly, but we are all avid gamers from different walks of gaming. We mesh well because we have strict PVE / Crafting people along with highly motivated PVP players. The PVPers are very respectful of rules so as not to be seen as "griefers" and at the same time is very protective of every member of our tribe and their individual dinos. I feel that keeping the server PVP with enacted rules, helps to keep excitement (though There is still some decent excitement in PVE) and keeps you constantly on your toes.

Welp, those be my 2 cents.

I know of a few people who were unaware of the poll as well who would of liked to vote if there is anyway to extend the voting process by a day or two to include those individuals.

I Vote for Pure PVP or PVP with rules as some of the others mentioned. It is pretty boring day after day just taming dinos over and over without the fear of needed a solid defense or getting ready to go fight someone.
